IM Gears employs high grade industry standard software and design processes for 2D and 3D design. We have dedicated CAD/CAM labs where our design professionals make use of software such as CATIA, AutoCAD, SolidWorks etc. to render micron-level precision designs and perform complex mechanical simulations. We run these on extremely high end multicore systems to minimize render times. We can use these applications not only for product design and testing, but also to customize manufacturing processes, especially CNC machining. This also helps us identify and implement structural or other corrections even before a single part gets machined. The tool paths generated and fed into our CNC machines ensure nil to indiscernible variance in every part that is produced. This affords our manufacturing a level of precision and control that can match the high quality specifications expected by our clientele, be it prototypes or finished products.
